Uniform Information
All players need to wear a Bluffdale City uniform. These are reusable from season to season. They are available to purchase online (during registration) if needed.

All shoes must be closed-toed.
Each player is required to have their own mitt.
A baseball hat will be provided for each player as part of registration fee.
Bases, bats, balls, and tees will be provided at the field at time of games.
Team Formation
Participants will be placed on teams based on school attended if possible.
If you would like your child to be on the same team as someone else, please make sure you request that during registration (NO REQUEST IS GUARANTEED). Players are only allowed to request up to 2 teammates AND the person you request must also request you.
Email recreation@bluffdale.gov to confirm or add player request.
Some divisions may be combined if there are not enough participants signed up in a division.

- 8 players on a team.
- Game Day: Practice/warm-ups will be held the first 15 minutes of the game. After that, equal innings should be played to finish the hour. Some games may have more innings than others depending on the speed of the game. Please do not go over the hour slot.

Volunteer Coaches Benefit
We know we can't do this without our amazing volunteer coaches. As a thank you, we are offering a Free Registration to those volunteer. In order to qualify for the full Volunteer Coaches Benefit, you must complete the following items.
- Utah State Law Requirements *Must be completed 1 week before first game*
- provide driver's license
- complete background check
- watch youth safety video
- Attend 75% of games
More information will be emailed to you as well as a Coaches Meeting will be held to communicate expectations & requirements.

Coaches Expectations
- Complete legal requirements.
- Contact team via email or text to establish communication line.
- Create an opportunity for parents to provide after game snacks.
- Allow each player to play at least 1/2 of every game.
- Create and encourage a safe and positive environment.
Parent Expectations
- Volunteer as coach if possible.
- Support coach when possible. (snack rotation, practice help, game support)
- Adhere to Spectator Code of Conduct.
- Be on time.
