Volunteer Coaches
Coaching is one of the most rewarding ways to be involved, and our program can’t run without amazing volunteers like you! Email recreation@bluffdale.gov to volunteer or for more information!

We know we can't do this without our amazing volunteer coaches. As a thank you, we are offering a Free Registration to those volunteer. In order to qualify for the full Volunteer Coaches Benefit, you must complete the Coach Requirements.

Spring T-Ball Coaches Meeting: Tuesday, May 29th @ 6pm

Coach Requirements
- Complete Utah State Code: Title 80, Section 8 requirements.
- Complete background check
- provide driver's license
- watch you safety video
- Complete a one-hour training that covers the basics of the game, rules and child safety training.
- Attend coaches meeting.
- Attend all games - or find a substitute coach from team to cover and absence.
- Organize weekly practices.
Coaches Expectations
- Contact team via email or text to establish communication line.
- Create an opportunity for parents to provide after game snacks.
- Allow each player to play at least 1/2 of every game.
- Create and encourage a safe and positive environment.
